The innovative process created by HyCap Energy LLC is the result of years of research and development. The purpose was to separate and capture entrained natural gas in any liquid, and render the gas available for beneficial use, and reduce unnecessary and wasteful fugitive emissions of a valuable energy resource. The result is greater income for producers, royalty holders, state and federal governments; reduced operating costs; and a cleaner environment

The HyCap Energy LLC process captures entrained natural gases before it becomes an uncontrollable fugitive emissions. The natural gas is tested and measured using natural gas industry AGA 8 standards. It is then placed into the natural gas collection stream or is made available for direct beneficial use. The HyCap Energy LLC process provides a low-risk way to generate additional revenue, reduce operating costs, and help the environment

In the spring of 2010 HyCap Energy LLC, tested the HyCap Separator at the Rocky Mountain Oil Testing Center (DOE NPR3) and found the equipment to be an average of 97.4% efficient in separating Gas, and apparently 70% in separating oil from water streams.

Is scalable for water flows as small as 1 gpm (30 bpd) to flows larger than 3,000 gpm (105,000 bpd);
Relies solely upon the available energy in the flow system;
Allows recovery of Natural Gas lost during initial pumping or hydraulic fracturing operations;
Is suitable for Industrial, coalbed methane, domestic, and Municipal supply wells;
Requires no chemicals;
       *    Can be constructed of AWWA Standard Materials;
       *    Is easily cleaned and disinfected for potable water supplies;
       *    Is 97.4% efficient in removing Gas from water, independent of water flow or gas concentration.

       *    Reduces chlorine demand in potable water systems;
       *    Reduces disinfection byproducts; Eliminates need for air relief valves in water lines and the associated maintenance;
       *    Virtually Eliminates Green House Gas emissions;
       *    Increases safety in confined spaces;
       *    Requires almost no Maintenance; Gas may be collected and used or stored for future use (subject to mineral rights).

The HyCap Capture Device (Patent Pending):

In conjunction with the HyCap Separator the gasses must be captured, collected measured and added to the supply stream. The HyCap Capture device allows a Holistic full field approach to be used, adding capture ability to areas where the expense of the full separation device would not be cost effective.
